Vijaya Bank pays dividend to govt

Vijaya Bank has paid a dividend of Rs 89.63 Crore to the government  for the financial year 2009-10.  

The recently conducted Annual General Meeting of the bank, declared a dividend of 25 per cent to be paid to the shareholders, including the government holding 53.87 per cent of the Bank’s equity capital. Vijaya Bank CMD Albert Tauro handed over the dividend cheque to Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee at New Delhi.
