At the Taluk office, the ‘acting’ Tahsildar and ‘working’ Tahsildar were sitting face-to-face at the two ends of the table and were passing some mild comments against each other.<br /><br />“You are like my younger brother but you lodged a police complaint against me. I will sail through it but don’t be a puppet, brother,” Asha was heard advising Shiva Kumar. In response Shiva Kumar said, “I have learnt many lessons from you. Still I think you have a lot more to teach me.”<br /><br />The ‘student’ Shiva Kumar did not indicate in his conversation that he had lodged a police complaint against Asha Parveen. He gave a written complaint on Saturday that Asha had broke open the lock, caused damage to public property and trespassed into ‘his’ chamber. <br /><br />Based on his complaint, the KR Puram police registered a case against Asha under various IPC sections.<br /><br />Asha had been transferred to the Khadi Gramodyog Bhandar last Thursday and in her place C L Shiva Kumar was posted. While Shiva Kumar was yet to assume office, Asha got a stay order on her transfer from the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) on Friday. <br /><br />On Saturday afternoon, she went to her office only to find it locked. <br /><br />She broke the lock to open it and entered inside. Shiva Kumar thereafter lodged a police complaint against her.<br /><br />It was a good fodder for the media persons who were pouring in at the KR Puram Taluk office to take pictures and videograph the events unfolding at the Taluk office. <br /><br />As if this was not enough, the state police had engaged at least four intelligence personnel inside Tahsildar’s chamber. <br /><br />One was videographing and the second was a photographer to record every developments taking place there from morning till evening. <br /><br />Two other personnel were passing on information over phone. Outside too there were enough policemen and intelligence personnel informing their bosses every minutes of action.</p>
