Addressing the reporters after inaugurating the 15th ATM of the Bank in Mangalore on Friday, she said that the net profit during the same time last year was Rs 143.88 crore.
She said that total business of the bank was Rs 91,802 crore last year, which has gone up by 14 per cent this year, making the business to Rs 1,04,620 crore. Bank intends to achieve business of Rs 1.26 lakh crore by March 2011.
Panse informed that the bank has plans to open up 100 branches and 250 ATMs in the country by next year.
She said that bank has plans of financial inclusion in Mandya, Haveri and Dharwad. In Mandya, already 18 business correspondents have been appointed and 80,000 no frill accounts have been opened.
Deputy General Manager Mangalore Region Shanti V Mallar was present.
