Dressed in a red bridal lehenga-choli, the 23-year-old actress looked like a bride-to-be as she modelled Valaya's design.

"After JJ dressed me up for the show, I looked at myself in the mirror and told him, 'You are going to design my wedding outfit'," said Kangna.
"His designs are so special and there is so much detailing, it is something you feel like leaving for your grandchildren. If a modern 'Mughal-e-Azam' is made, Anarkali should wear what I am wearing today," she added.

The 'Fashion' star is sporting a fuller figure these days, and when quizzed about the same, she said, "When I came into Bollywood I was one of the thinnest actresses. Now when everyone is turning size zero, I thought of putting on weight."

Valaya's collection named 'Alika' is inspired by the fictitious love story of a courtesan. The whole range of clothes varied from skirts, lehengas, sarees and jackets for both men and women in colours like white, gold, black, red and pink.

"My couture range is an extension of the inspiration of my pret collection. 'Alika' is inspired by the dreams of a courtesan who is in love with a royal. It is all about her journey in despair and triumph," Valaya told PTI.

Apart from the heavy embroidery work and Swarovski embellisments on fabrics like jersey, dupion, georgette and fine velvets, the dazzling jewellery by luxury brand Giantti helped in adding the regal touch to the collection. PTI BB
