The track is being laid at an estimated cost of Rs 2.85 crore. The work on the track is under progress. Except for laying the track, all other works had been completed. Synthetic track will be from America and Germany.
PWD Executive Engineer Ravikumar provided technical details on the track. Sports department Joint Director Kantharaju, Land Army Corporation Deputy Director Shivaprasad, Youth Service and Sports department Assistant Director Gayathri and others were present.
