Vaidyanathan is leaving ICICI to pursue other opportunities, a release said here.
The Board of Directors of ICICI Life also appointed Puneet Nanda and Madhivanan, present Executive Vice- Presidents, as Executive Directors, subject to necessary approvals.
The executive management structure at ICICI Life under the Managing Director and CEO will comprise Nanda, Madhivanan and Avijit Chatterjee, Chief Actuary, the release said.
The management changes are in line with the ICICI Group's philosophy of strengthening the leadership and management across its businesses, it said.
At ICICI Bank, the country's biggest private sector lender, Zarin Daruwala will assume responsibility for the Wholesale Banking Group, reporting to the bank's Managing Director & Chief Executive Chanda Kochhar.
The executive management structure at ICICI Bank under the Managing Director & CEO will comprise N S Kannan, Executive Director & CFO, K Ramkumar, Executive Director responsible for Human Resources, Customer Service & Operations and Rajiv Sabharwal, Executive Director responsible for retail banking, inclusive & rural banking and SME & mid-corporate business.
Others include Pravir Vohra, Group Chief Technology Officer, Vijay Chandok, Group Executive-International Banking; and Zarin Daruwala, Group Executive-Wholesale Banking, the release added.
