MSRIT inks MoU for curriculum development

Bangalore-based M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) and Schneider Electric have joined hands to provide technical excellence in the field of electrical, electronics, software and control engineering. The two institutions signed an MoU recently that binds them in university partnership for curriculum development. Through this programme, two new courses — Advanced Industrial Automation & Modern Controls, Energy Management — have been created. The aim is to provide young engineering students with hands-on experience through laboratory work and workshops.

TTTI holds first convocation

Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) recently conferred academic degrees on its first batch of graduates on the successful completion of a three-year training programme.
The convocation ceremony was graced by Dr Abdul Kalam, former President of India. The programme trains students to be skilled technicians in auto manufacturing and plant administration. The course covers automobile assembly, automobile paint, automobile weld and mechatronics (a combination of mechanical and industrial electronics).
