Narasimha Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh state secretary of CPI (Maoist), was apprehended when a joint team of CRPF and state police raided his hideout at Relibera village following a tip-off, Superintendent of Police Saket Kumar Singh said.
Reddy alias “Langada” was arrested in a house at Upper Ghat in the Gomia area. The Naxal leader is wanted in many cases in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, a CRPF officer said.
The team also recovered arms, ammunition, a laptop, certain documents and cash from him.
