He was speaking at the inauguration of Bio fest today, the fest began on Wednesday, which is organised by the Karnataka government.
The fest was slated open by the Union Minister for Science, Technology and Earth Sciences, Mr Prithviraj Chavan. The fest will focus on the benefits and opportunities of doing business and foreign research tie-ups with Indian companies, especailly Karnataka.
'Biotechnology beyond boundaries - the promise of India', is the theme of the event, which is expecting 150 exhibitors and 700 delegates.
