'Provide drinking water to Kadur town from Hebbe Waterfalls'

Addressing a news conference on Tuesday, he said that the CM has assured to take up necessary steps to provide drinking water to Kadur Town from Hebbe within three months.

He said that MLA K M Krishnamurthy had only been making empty promises with regard to Madagadakere and Vishnu Samudra projects but did nothing for the materialisation of the same. But CM has assured to take up these projects too, he said.

The CM also urged to take up road repair works of Kedikere to Giriyapura at Rs 20 lakhs, Basuru to Hullahalli via Kamanakere at Rs 40 lakh, Yagati road to Dasarahalli Guddada Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Rs 10 lakh, Narasipura to Tirumaleshwara temple at Rs 20 lakh and Rangapura to Kunduru gate via Madapura and Narayanapura at Rs 10 lakh.
It has been urged to develop Kaduru, Maravanji village road, Kaduru, TH Road-Hirenalluru, Antharagatte, Yagati and Chaulahiriyur, Singatagere, Panchanalli, Belaguru, Teresapura and Ganganahalli under CM’s special grants.

Shashidhar said that Hulikere, Jodilingadahalli, Devanoor, Jodihochihalli, Chikkadevanoor, Pillenahalli, Singatagere, Yallambalase, Chikkangala, Garje, Asandi, Kunkanadu and Basuru villages have been included under Suvarna Gram programme. 

Town Municipal Council Member Eshwarappa said that district-in-charge minister has been urged to take steps to take up express line for solving drinking water problems in the region. Accordingly a sum of Rs 3.75 lakh has been assured for the project.
