Coaching centre in Mangalore

The Expert Coaching Centre (ECC) in Mangalore has been training scores of students to face various entrance tests for professional courses. Housed on a 11,000-sq ft campus and led by experienced and qualified faculty, the institute has spent the last 12 years training PUC students from all over the State to crack entrance exams for professional courses.

Well-designed classrooms and student counselling sessions are the institute’s plus points. Established by Narendra L Nayak, who quit his job as faculty member in NITK, Surathkal in 1998, the institute coaches students to face entrance exams for courses such as engineering, medicine and dentistry. ECC has also opened ‘Expert Pre-University Science College’, a training centre for tests such as CET, COMEDK, AIEEE, IIT-JEE and AIPMT.

TOEFL scholarships for Indian students

Educational Testing Service (ETS) has announced the winners of the ‘2010 TOEFL® Scholarship Program in India’.  ETS, the creator of the TOEFL test, awarded seven high-performing Indian students with $50,000 for postgraduate study in 2010-2011. This year, three $10,000 scholarships and four $5,000 scholarships were awarded to students who were accepted by universities in the UK, the US and Canada.
