Suvarna TV launches a new reality show Halli Hyda Pyeteg Banda with Radhika Pandit as the anchor. After the phenomenal success of Pyete Hudigir Halli Lifu with Sudeep, the new season has a completely new twist to it.

Unlike ten city girls surviving in a village, the sequel has eight rural boys coming to the city with eight city girls joining them to train and guide them. Radhika Pandit is the anchor and the judge. Noted actor and dancer, Akul Balaji also does the job of an anchor.

“Be it a serial or a reality show, viewers always expect more. They need crisp and
entertaining shows. In the last few months, we have been making sure that every launch of ours goes through this thought process,” says Jagdish Kumar, President, (South) Star India.

“Shows like this would be watched by millions of viewers. If one notices our launches in recent months, it’s very clear that every programme is unique in its own way and adds a new set of viewers, fulfiling our broad objective of becoming a family entertainment channel,” says Anup Chandrashekaran, usiness Head of Suvarna.

Halli Hyda Pyeteg Banda (meaning ‘village lad lands in the city’) will be telecast on
Suvarna every Monday to Friday at 8 pm starting August 23.

Crowning the master chef

Watch the premiere of  Kitchen Champion Season 3 on Colors on August 23 at 1 pm. Kitchen Champion is back with its third edition, this time with Bollywood stars, joining 20 common women. In the first week, Bollywood starlet Prachi Desai graces the show with her presence and encourages the participants and puts them to test to get her deserving two for the
finale.

Watch 20 women battle it out in the kitchen with Prachi Desai in the opening episode of August 23. The programme airs every Monday to Friday at 1 pm.

Gabbar on small screen?
