Summer salary
He said that schools are not providing salaries to teachers during two months of summer holidays. Also provident fund and gratuity have remained a distant dream for teachers.Despite teachers from private schools are facing many problems, education department officials are unconcerned about the teachers problems, he said.  Rajashekarmurthy alleged that none of the education department officials or people’s representatives are responding to the teachers problems.

They refuse to provide a solution and wash their hands by saying that the school managements and teachers should solve the issues within themselves. For minor mistake, the managements are repeatedly sending notices which is causing discomfort among the teachers. As a school has many teachers and students, there will be problems, but the management should resolve the issues sensitively.
