JOIN USIn a press release here, MUDA Commissioner P C Jayanna said the MUDA has decided to adopt preliminary notification issued by the State government on July 30, 2009, regarding payment of compensation for the acquired land. This would be followed while acquiring land for the formation of new layouts. Accordingly, land owners of Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Nagar, Swarna Jayanthi Nagar, Shanthaveri Gopalgowda Nagar IInd stage, Lal Bahadur Shastri Nagar IInd stage, Lalithadrinagar IInd stage, Rabindranath Tagore IInd stage and Jayanagar 4th Stage, is called.
The commissioner said some land owners have appealed to the MUDA to not to acquire their land which had delayed formation of new layouts. The authority had already decided to give developed sites on 40:60 ratio to owners concerned instead of cash compensation.
The purpose of the meeting was to have direct talks with land owners who have opted de-notification to settle the issue.
