JOIN US Former legislator S M Muniyappa announced this at a function organised by the district Youth Congress during adoption of Gerahalli Government School here on Saturday.
The party activists will provide these schools with basic amenities including drinking water, toilet, teaching materials and facilitate conducive environment for learning.
Youth Congress district unit President Addagal Sridhar said, following instructions from the Youth Congress State President Krishna Byregowda a government school in each block is being adopted. He said that three schools have been already adopted and initiatives have been taken for their all-round development.
The Block Congress activists distributed free note books to the students of the Gerahalli Government school. Mandikal Block Congress President and Advocate Narayanaswamy, Party leaders Puradagadde Krishnappa, Anil Kumar and Suresh, Shidlaghatta Block Congress President Chandranath, Jangamakote Shivaprasad, Bagepalli Narendra, General Secretary G V Sunil and R K Pradeep were present on the occasion.
