As per the NSE data, Bajaj Finserv bought 16,01,900 shares or 4.37 per cent stake of Bajaj Auto Finance at a price of Rs 695 per piece on Tuesday. With this bulk deal, Bajaj Finserv – engaged in life and general insurance, besides consumer finance business – now holds 54.79 per cent stake in Bajaj Auto Finance.
Bajaj Auto Finance, a non-banking finance company, offers various consumer finance products to the customers such as auto loans, personal loans, loans for consumer durables and computers and SME finance.
