No intention of stirring up dissident activity, says Belur

Gopalakrishna, representing Sagar Assembly constituency in Shimoga, the home district of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, two days ago had staked claim for a ministerial berth and threatended to spell out future course of action if he was not considered in the next round of ministry expansion, earning the wrath of state unit President K S Eswarappa.

In a damage control act, Gopalakrishna told reporters here that he would continue to work as a loyal BJP worker and it was upto the party to decide about whether he should be given a ministerial berth or not.

Eswarappa had yesterday warned Gopalakrishna that his statement amounted to indiscipline and said the MLA was free to take any decision on his future plans.
Gopalakrishna, who represent Idiga community, said that there was no representation to his community in the ministry.
