JOIN USThey said that ZP member Aranamada Chengappa had directed the GP Secretary not to issue the cheque to the contractor who had supplied cooker till the investigation into the alleged misappropriation over purchase of cooker was completed.

ZP CEO had conducted probe into the alleged misappropriation and closed the case. Protesters said that they would stage protest from October 2 onwards if the Secretary is not susppended immediately.
DC K H Ashwathanarayana Gowda received the memorandum from the protestors and promised to direct the ZP CEO to look into matter.
