Of celebration and competition
It’s the most crucial week on Sangeeta Mahayuddha this Saturday and Sunday as the show gets its top two contenders for the finals. Celebrated music director Gurukiran joins the Sangeeta Mahayuddha team for another exciting week. Produced by Saibaba Telefilms, the show presents a first-of-its kind singing competition that brings together young talent from all across the state in a unique musical reality show.

On Saturday, the teams get together to celebrate the birthdays of two special actors of the Kannada film industry — the versatile, stylish and popular, late Dr Vishnuvardhan and also actor, director and script writer, Upendra. Gurukiran fondly speaks about his association with the two superstars as he had composed the music for Upendra’s first film and Dr Vishnuvardhan’s last one. Bayalusima Bulls fight against Malenada Masters for a place in the all important finals on Saturday’s episode.

It’s the last semi-final round on Sunday between L N Shastry’s Veera Nayakas and Bayalusima Bulls. Being the most crucial round for both teams, signs of tension and stress start showing in their performances.
In the medley round, the Veera Nayakas take on the theme of Hamsalekha this time. Which team goes to the finals? To find out, watch Sangeeta Mahayuddha on Udaya TV on September 18 and 19 at 9 pm.
