In the final meet of the four-leg bash that concluded at the Sree Kanteerava stadium, Rashtriya Military School totalled 5,580 points while St Joseph’s Indian High School finished runners-up with 1,800 points. Vidya Niketan School were third at 1,505.
In the girls’ category, Holy Angels School were runaway winners with 5,545 points with Vidya Niketan (2,555) and Baldwin Girls’ High School (2,018) taking the second and third place respectively.
In the blue riband event -- Boys’ under-16 100M -- Vivek Kumar of Rashtriya Military School produced a late surge to clinch gold, clocking 11.5 seconds. St Philomena’s Prashanth Dwevedi trailed Vivek by 0.1 second for silver while Ajith G of Sri Vidyamandira won bronze at 11.7.
Former India basketball captain R Rajan gave away the prizes to the winners.
