Shruti was dressed in a blue-toned silk sari with dazzling border and long sleeved black net blouse, which was a part of the art of tarot collection that Nanda presented at the the gala fashion event.
When asked how comfortable she was sporting a sari, Shruti said: “It’s one of those things you have to get used to and this sari is very comfortable. So it was quite easy walking the ramp in this.
“It’s a very unique and vibrant collection of what I am wearing and what I saw of the whole collection. It’s really beautiful to look at,” added the actress who made her Bollywood debut with “Luck”.
Talking about his collection, Nanda said: “The collection was inspired by tarot cards, so when we started researching tarot cards from around the world, most of the tarot cards decks I saw were very dark or heavy in flavour.
“They were not kind of fun and fashion, that was not the spirit. So, I thought why not make a few cards and if we like it we’ll make a collection around it,” he said. Colours like emerald and royal blue along with earthy gold moved onto fabrics ranging from georgette, soft satin and silk knit.
