Nikhil Singh (20), son of an engineer in BSNL Dharmendra Singh, was abducted from Qila area on September 7 and the abductors demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh for his release, Deputy Inspector General of Police Prakash D told reporters.
He said that on the basis of suspicion, police detained two persons who admitted of abducting and killing Nikhil.He said that Nikhil was killed on September 8 and later his body was dumped at a secluded place in Badaun district.
