Decomposed bodies of couple found in Haryana

The bodies of Inderpal (25) and Maya (21), both residents of Phoolka village in the district, were recovered from the fields of adjoining Kanwar Pura village late Friday night, Ding police station SHO Ravinder Singh said.

The head of the girl was found severed, he said, adding that though prima facie it appeared to be a case of honour killing, all angles are being looked into.

A pesticide bottle was also found lying near the bodies, he said.

The exact cause of death would be known only after the autopsy report is received, he said.
The boy and girl had eloped on the intervening night of September 17-18, he said.

However, the girl’s brother alleged that she was kidnapped by Inderpal and his four friends and was killed along with the youth after she was gangraped.

In another case, the Sadar police at Rewari has booked a student Sachin, for allegedly abducting a teenaged girl who studied in the same college with him, on September 18.
One Anil Kumar and a young woman Rashmi Devi have also been booked for their complicity in the crime on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim’s father.
