They were awarded with a memento of Chatrapathi Shivaji and cash prize.
Along with them, 29 economically backward students were given geometry boxes and cash. Amidst the fanfare and celebration, N Shankar Rao, who risked his life to save the people trapped in the recent fire accident at Carlton Towers, was felicitated for his act of bravery.
The event which was organised by the Vijay Bhavani Welfare Association gave financial assistance to 25 widows.
