JOIN USDattamala Abhiyana begins; Shobhayatre on Oct 28
The Dattamala Abhiyana by Sri Rama Sene commenced in Chikkamagaluru on Monday. The devotees wore Dattamala at Kamadhenu Mahashakti Ganapathi Temple in Chikkamagaluru.
The devotees sang Bhajans on Dattatreya and later offered puja to the portrait of Guru Dattatreya.
Sri Rama Sene state vice president Kattinamane Mahesh Kumar, district president Ranjith Shetty wore Dattamala and they will observe vrath for seven days.
The devotees who have worn Dattamala will offer bhajan daily at the temple. They will seek alms from three houses before leaving for Datta Peetha.
The shobhayatra of Dattamala Abhiyana will be held on October 28 from Kamadhenu Mahashakthi Ganapathi Temple and will pass through Hanumanthappa Circle, M G Road before culminating at Azad Park.
