My 2026 resolutions are about becoming the best version of myself. Last year I completed my goals, and this year I want to make them even stronger and better. I want to grow in knowledge, strength, creativity, and discipline, and become a complete human being.
My first resolution is reading books. Books give knowledge, and knowledge is one of the greatest powers in life. As Chanakya said, if we only learn from our own mistakes, life is too short, so we must learn from others’ experiences. Reading helps me understand the world, build ideas, and move closer to my dream of becoming a great author and movie director. Last year I read 10 books, but thisyear my goal is to read more than 35.
My second resolution is long running. Running is my passion. It gives my body energy and my mind strength. I want to win marathons and one day break world records. Running teaches endurance, discipline, and confidence.
My third resolution is golf. Golf is not an easy game. It needs power, patience, and perfect focus. Hitting long shots and putting with calmness trains my body and mind to work together.
My fourth resolution is singing. Singing is my family’s tradition and my soul. I have been learning Hindustani classical music for five years and completed my Level 1 exam. I want to sing many raagas, record songs, make my family proud and share my voice with the world.
But above all, my final and greatest resolution is discipline. Discipline is the soul of my life. Without discipline, none of my dreams can survive. Discipline makes me responsible, strong, and true to myself.
