A leopard that had been troubling residents in Koodaranji was captured in a cage set by wildlife officials on Saturday.The leopard, estimated to be around three years old, was caught when it ventured into the inhabited area, sources reported.Following repeated complaints from villagers about the leopard's presence in the Perumboola and Kooriyode areas, forest officials had placed the cage two weeks ago.In recent weeks, the leopard was said to have killed several domestic animals, adding to the concerns of local residents.
