Bishop Cotton Girls’ School, St. Mark’s Road, recently hosted a successful Model United Nations conference, inaugurated by distinguished keynote guest Aishwarya Mahadev.The event saw participation from multiple schools, including Frank Anthony Public School and Bishop Cotton Boys’ School. Students tackled global issues across five committees, discussing topics from the illegal arms trade to human rights violations in mining.The conference fostered insightful discussions and provided a platform for students to engage in meaningful debate on diplomatic issues, culminating in a united session of the United Nations General Assembly focusing on the South China Sea disputes.
