SJR Kengeri Public School, Bengaluru, celebrated World Environment Day with a range of hands-on activities. Primary students learned about waste management through a waste segregation exercise. Middle primary students did fingerprint-based artwork and explored the school’s flora. Classes 5 and 6 held a slogan-filled procession while wearing handmade green hats. Middle school students distributed paper bags to roadside vendors and cleared plastic waste from nearby parks. Class 9 students staged a street play on the theme, 'Ending Plastic Pollution Globally.' Staff and students wore green to symbolise their collective dedication to a cleaner planet.
