Class 10 students from DBM & RJS High School explored Janapada Loka, a folk heritage museum that showcases Karnataka’s traditions. They viewed old tools, musical instruments, colourful masks, puppets, and life-size village scenes depicting festivals, occupations, and daily life. Open-air settings, traditional architecture, and live folk dance and music enriched the experience. Teachers Reeta, Shobha, Shivappa, and Govindaraju escorted the group, and students returned with a deeper respect for the state’s culture and heritage.
