St. Joseph’s pays tribute to families of freedom fighters

St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School, Bengaluru, commemorated India’s 79th year of freedom with a heartfelt ceremony on August 15. Chief Guest Air Marshall Cariappa and Mrs. Cariappa hoisted the national flag, followed by patriotic skits, speeches, and songs. The programme paid special tribute to the families of freedom fighters, showcasing the sacrifices borne at home during the independence struggle. A multilingual rendition of Mile Sur Mera Tumhara and a cultural dance mosaic added to the celebrations.
