Students of Chandana School, Lakshmeshwar, Gadag district, recently observed the red moon using a modern telescope at the school’s “Chandrayan” ground. During the eclipse, the shadow of the Earth turned the moon a stunning red as it passed through the planet’s umbra. The phenomenon sparked wonder among students, who watched with curiosity and delight. The school principal said the event deepened students’ understanding of astronomy and celestial movements.
