Students of Academic Heights Public School, Channagiri, recently celebrated the 70th Kannada Rajyotsava. Principal Shanthi MP and Administrator Nataraj were present. Nisarga of Class 10 spoke about Kannada poets, while Vaibhav of Class 6 described the history of the language. Kannada teacher Chandraiah explained Kannada’s heritage with pride. Several teachers shared their admiration for the language. A Class 8 student sang the State Anthem. Shashikumar welcomed the gathering, Parvati proposed the vote of thanks and Preeti narrated the programme.
