Idhant Shashwat Chaturvedi of RV Public School, VV Puram, has been making significant strides in the competitive swimming arena, demonstrating a blend of skill, dedication, and passion. Over the past year, Idhant has accumulated a series of notable achievements across various prestigious competitions.In April 2024, at the Swimming State Meet organised by the Swimming Federation of India in Bengaluru, Idhant clinched a gold medal in the 50m backstroke and two silver medals in the 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke events. His winning streak continued into August, where he secured two gold medals in the 50m backstroke and 100m freestyle at the ICSE state meet, also held in Bengaluru.September saw further success at the ICSE National Games at the Padukone Centre of Excellence, Bengaluru, where Idhant added two more gold medals in the 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke events to his collection, along with a silver in the 50m backstroke.Additionally, Idhant competed in the Netakalappa All India Sports Meet 2024, earning a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke, and participated in the School Games Federation of India's swimming competition in November, securing another bronze in the 4x100m freestyle relay.
