Holy Spirit School (CISCE) has recently celebrated remarkable success in this traditional sport, clinching top honours at the National Level CISCE Kho-Kho Championship and excelling in the SGFI Tournaments.The school's journey in Kho-Kho began in earnest in 2021 under the guidance of Praveen Kumar, a dedicated Kho-Kho coach whose expertise has been pivotal. The unwavering support and trust of Sr. Shanthi SSpS, the principal, have fueled this journey, propelling the team to achieve great feats at both the regional championships in Hyderabad and the national level in Tirupur.This journey was not without its challenges. Achieving this level of success required immense hard work, passion, practice, and commitment. Ten talented students—six boys and four girls—have been selected to represent the school in the prestigious School Games Federation of India (SGFI) tournaments. Their selection stands as a testament to their dedication and the rigorous training regimen they have followed.The players are immensely grateful for the opportunities provided by Holy Spirit School, which have offered them valuable experience and exposure beyond regular school games. Participating in high-energy matches against teams from different educational boards across the country has been particularly enlightening.
