JOIN USAam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has already announced aeronautical engineer Santosh Nargund as its candidate for Hubballi-Dharwad Central constituency, will field retired jail superintendent S F Patil in Dharwad constituency, and will support independent candidate A D Saidapur in Navalgund.
AAP district unit convener Basavaraj Mudigoudar told media persons here on Friday that Santosh Nargund and S F Patil would file nomination papers on Saturday (April 21), while A D Saidapur will file the nomination on April 23.
During his service of 33 years, S F Patil was transferred 21 times due to his honesty. He is concerned about the problems of farmers, and he is trying to build alternative politics to solve them. A D Saidapur is a retired assistant agriculture officer, and he is also facing the polls with an intention to work for the welfare of farmers, Mudigoudar added.
