Amit Shah holds colourful roadshow

BJP national president Amit Shah participated in a roadshow from Kolya to Ullal Circle in Thokkottu for BJP candidate Santhosh Rai Boliyar in Mangaluru constituency.

It was attended by a large number of party workers on Tuesday.In a specially-designed vehicle, Shah began the roadshow from Sowbhagya Sabha Bhavana in Kolya to Ullal Circle.

BJP workers raised slogans praising Prime Minister Modi. Folk troupes, such as Keelu Kudure and Nasik band made the procession colourful. Several party workers were seen waving party flags during the programme.

People standing by the roadside watched the roadshow and a few showered petals on the vehicle. Initially, the roadshow was planned from Kapikad to Kallapu in Thokkotu. However, the roadshow was organised from Kolya to Ullal Circle to ensure that there was no traffic congestion.

Shah also clicked the photographs of the press photographers using the camera of one of the press photographers.

Later, he held a roadshow in Mangaluru city South constituency for BJP candidate Vedavyas Kamath from Navabharath Circle. Shah also visited Kudroli Temple on the occasion.

Shah also held a roadshow at Kavoor for Mangaluru City North candidate Dr Bharath Shetty.
