JD(S) will waive-off farmers’ loans up to Rs 51,000 crore within 24 hours of coming to power in the state, said JD(S) State President H D Kumaraswamy.
Campaigning for the party candidate B B Ningaiah in Kalasa, he said that 4,300 crore loans by Stree Shakti group will also be waived.
"If the people will give an opportunity to JD(S), it will make officials come to the doorstep of the people," he said.
The confusions regarding form number 53 and 94C will be cleared. The eligible people need not have to wander from pillar to post for the sanction of land and sites.
Clarifying that the JD(S) will not make any electoral ties with BJP, he warned the youth to be cautious about BJP, which claims people’s lives on the pretext of religion.
"A permanent solution will be chalked out for Inam land issue and Kalasa will be declared as the taluk, if JD(S) comes to power," he added.
MLA B B Ningaiah, JD(S) District President Ajit Kumar, Balakrishnegowda, Bhojegowda and others were present.
A procession was taken out by JD(S) on the streets of the city.
