Photojournalist Keshav Vittla passed away here on Monday.
He was 56 and was suffering from a kidney-related ailment.
Hailing from Vittal, he started his career with ‘Mungaru’, a Kannada newspaper in 1984. Later, he joined Indian Express and had also worked for The Telegraph and Hindustan Times.
His work ‘Facets of Karnataka – A Pictorial Journey’ was brought out by the Tourism Department.
He had won lifetime achievement award from Bengaluru Press Club, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Rajyotsava Award, Baliyendra Puraskar and Tulunada Siri Award.
