Padmalaya Star team from Pune bagged the title of Silver Cricket League 2018, the national level doctors leather ball cricket tournament organised recently by Udupi District Cricket Association and Mahe deemed to be university, at MIT grounds in Manipal.
During the final match, Thane Superbs team chose to bat first and lost three wickets in the first over.
Attacking bowling by Kunal Shindhe from Padmalaya team, Pune helped the team. Another bowler from the team took three wickets, which led to the defeat of Thane Superbs at 82 runs in 19.5 overs. Kunal Shindhe took four wickets. Mahesh, Tushar and Sagar Patel took one wicket each.
