Sukumar Shetty has immovable assets worth Rs 31.87 crore

BJP Baindoor candidate B M Sukumar Shetty has immovable and movable assets worth Rs 31,87,62,360 and Rs 2,68,85,663.18 respectively.

He filed his papers on Saturday at Baindoor. He was defeated by sitting MLA Gopal Poojary in the 2013 elections.

The BJP leader has 1.15 lakh cash in hand and owns a Toyota Fortuner of 2016 model worth Rs 36,06,997. He has savings of Rs 1,33,703 at Udupi Horticulture Growers Cooperative Society, one lakh at Byndoor credit cooperative society, and Rs 65,316 in his account in Canara Bank. He possesses 120 gram of gold worth Rs 3,52,200, while his wife possesses 350 grams of gold worth Rs 10,86,520.

He has land of 9.59 acres in Kurkunje, 2.03 acres at Halnadu, 13.55 acres at Amparu and 15.03 acres at Bellal. The agricultural land at Kurkunje is his own property, worth Rs 12,56,20,000. The land at Amparu is his ancestral property.

He has a site at Arkavati layout in Bengaluru which costs Rs 10,08,09,000, while the commercial complex he owns at Kurkunje cost Rs 22 lakh respectively. He owns a flat at Nagavar in Bengaluru which has a market value of Rs 2,14,09,788.

He has Rs 50,000 cash on hand, and Rs 2,02,442 in his account. He has invested Rs 98,800 of shares in Canara and Vijaya Banks. He possesses 400 grams of gold worth Rs 12,00,000. He claims to be a priest by profession.

Rakesh Malli, Congress candidate for Kundapur constituency filed his nomination on Saturday.

He has shown Rs 1,63,87,281.47 worth movable assets. He has Rs 48,000 cash on hand and is dependent on agriculture and real estate business. His savings at Vijaya Bank amount to Rs 5,82,289.67 and Rs 15,68,962.68, as well as Rs 1,73,401.62 savings amount at SCDCC Bank and LIC Bond worth Rs 16,80,000.
