CBSE Class 10 results likely by April third or fourth week

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 board exam results in the third or fourth week of April this year, earlier than its usual May schedule, as per reports.

As per the past trends, the results are usually announced in the second week of May. In both 2025 and 2024, the CBSE announced the Class 10 results on May 13, whereas, in 2023, the results were declared on May 12.

However, this year, the results are likely to be announced earlier due to the two-exam system introduced for Class 10 last year. With the second exam scheduled in May 2026 for students who wish to improve their scores, releasing the main results earlier gives candidates time to decide on reappearing.

The CBSE Class 10 board exams for the 2025-26 academic session were conducted from mid-February to March 11 for students across cities in India and abroad.

Meanwhile, Class 12 board exams are still underway and will conclude on April 9, 2026. Their results are expected in May, in line with previous trends.

How to check CBSE Class 10 results

Once declared, students will be able to access their results through multiple channels, including: 

• Official CBSE websites: results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.nic.in

• DigiLocker 

• UMANG app 

• Designated Android mobile app: “DigiResults” 

• SMS service (by sending cbse10 <rollno> <sch no> <center no> on mobile number 7738299899)

Students are advised to keep their roll number, school code, centre code and admit card handy to check their scores. 

CBSE is expected to announce the confirmed result date a few days in advance. Students are advised to wait for the official notification before relying on result timelines. For any further updates, the students must keep track of the official CBSE websites and social media handles.
