NEET-UG 2026: NTA releases city slips for candidates; exam on May 3

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance exam city intimation slip for candidates appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2026.

Candidates can now download the city intimation slip using their application number and date of birth from the official websites, nta.ac.in or neet.nta.ac.in. 

Admit cards expected soon

The agency clarified that this slip is not the admit card, but only an advance intimation to help candidates plan their travel and logistics.

“The candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for NEET (UG) – 2026. This is advance information for the allotment of the city where the examination centre will be located,” NTA stated.

The admit card for NEET-UG 2026 will be issued separately at a later date.

NEET-UG 2026 exam details

NEET UG 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026 (Sunday) in pen-and-paper mode in a single shift from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at 552 cities across India, as well as 14 cities abroad.

The exam remains the single largest entrance test for undergraduate medical courses across the country.

How to download the city slip?

Candidates can access the city intimation slip by logging in on the official website using their application number and date of birth (DOB).

With the city intimation slip now out, the next key step is the release of the NEET-UG 2026 admit card, expected closer to the exam date.
