Bihar Assembly Election Result 2020: Araria Assembly Constituency

The Election Commission on November 10 declared the winner of Araria Assembly Constituency (AC No 49) in Araria district which went to polls on November 07, 2020. Abidur Rahman of the Indian National Congress won the Araria seat beating Janata Dal (United) candidate Shagufta Azim by a margin of 47936 votes.

In Bihar Assembly Election 2015, Congress candidate Avidur Rahman won Araria constituency seat with a margin of 22.8% securing 92667 votes against LJSP candidate Ajay Kumar Jha.
