Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 | Smallest and biggest constituencies in state in terms of voters in 2019

Maharashtra is all set for the upcoming Assembly elections where polling for the 288-member Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra will be held on November 20. The counting of votes is scheduled to happen on November 23.

As per data provided by the Election Commission of India, Maharashtra has total of 9,64,85,765 electors where in 20,93,206 are young electors. A total of 12,43,192 with disabilities (PwD) voters are set to exercise their franchise.

As the state gears up for polling to elect the 288 members of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, let us take a look at the smallest and the biggest constituencies in the state in terms of voters in 2019.

Largest constituencies in terms of voter numbers

• Raigarh district's Panvel saw the highest number of voters in 2019 with a total of 5,39,357 voters.

• Next in the list is Chinchwad constituency of Pune district where a total of 5,02,865 voters were registered.

• Hadapsar constituency of Pune district had 4,87,906 voters.

• Nalasopara of Thane district saw a record of 4,87,579 voters.

• Khadakwasala of Pune district had a total of 4,73,101 voters.

Smallest constituencies in terms of voter numbers

• Vikhroli constituency of Mumbai (Suburban) saw 2,26,885 voters.

• Ulhasnagar constituency of Thane had a record of 2,26,295 voters.

• Sindhudurg district's Sawantwadi had a total of 2,24,088 voters.

• Kudal constituency of Sindhudurg district had a record of 2,13,829 voters.

• Wadala constituency of Mumbai witnessed lowest count in all 288 constituencies with a total voters count being 2,03,263.
