<p>A high-end SUV registered under film star Salman Khan's younger brother- actor and film producer Arbaaz Khan- ran over a 70-year old homeless woman sleeping on a pavement, killing her on the spot on Sunday night, in the posh locality of Bandra (west.)<br /><br /></p>.<p>Police said that the Land Cruiser driven by film maker Sohail Khan's driver Dhananjay Pimple, failed to spot the woman identified as Chandan Bala, sleeping on the pavement using a plastic cover as a blanket. Putting a rest to rumours, police said that neither Arbaaz nor his younger brother Sohail were present in the vehicle.<br /><br />According to the police, the accident occurred around 11 pm and was witnessed by patrolling constables who along with Pimple rushed Bala to hospital where she was declared brought dead.<br /><br />Pimple later surrendered before the police and submitted himself to medical tests for alcohol consumption. According to police, initial reports indicate that the driver was not drunk.<br /><br />Later in the day, Sohail Khan told media that the car which is usually used by him was coming back from his father's house when the accident occurred.</p>
