The award ceremony, to be hosted by end September or early October will be attended by well known film and television personalities. These awards will also pay rich tributes to legendary comedians of yesteryear.

Comedy has been an extremely critical peg in storytelling in India, across both Bollywood and television. The last few years has seen comedy as a genre being given a place with movies and serials pegged on comedy and hence our offering of the BIG Indian Comedy Awards," Rabe Iyer, Business Head, BIG Live said in a statement here.
