Actor Katrina Kaif shares a photo from her childhood

Katrina Kaif will soon be seen in 'Sooryavanshi'

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif took to Instagram on Friday to share a photograph from her childhood much to the delight of fans. In the picture, she looks as adorable as anything can be and redefines the meaning of innocence with her smile.

Katrina, who was born in Hong Kong in 1983, began her Bollywood career with the 2003 release Boom but failed to make an impact. The actor ultimately gave proof of her abilities in 2007 when Namaste London, featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead, emerged as a critical and commercial success.

She consolidated her standing in Bollywood with films such as New York, Rajneeti, Partner and Ek Tha Tiger. The actor garnered a fair deal of attention with the dance numbers Chikni Chameli and Sheila Ki Jawani, emerging as the choice of the masses.

Katrina was last seen in the Salman Khan-starrer Bharat, which did well at the box office. The biggie was supposed to feature Priyanka Chopra as the leading lady but she opted out in the nick of time'.

'Kat' will next be seen in the actioner Sooryavanshi, which reunites her with her frequent collaborator Akshay Kumar. The film has been shot on a big budget and is a part of the 'Rohit Shetty Cop Universe'. It was to hit the screens last year but that did not happen due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Its new release date is expected to be announced soon.

She will also be seen in the horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. The star will be reuniting with Salman Khan for Tiger 3, which is set to go on the floors in the coming months. The film stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist and is expected to be the last installment of the popular franchise.

Katrina has also been roped in to star in a superhero movie, to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, but the magnum opus is yet to go on floors.
