The character apparently tries to deliver justice through a dangerous 'game', involving his friends. The veteran's chemistry with reel 'target' Emraan Hashmi comes across as one of the biggest highlights of the film. One is likely to get clarity on the plot closer to the release date.
Chehre has been directed by Rumi Jafry and marks Big B's first collaboration with the erstwhile 'Serial Kisser'. It features Krystle D'Souza as the leading lady and is the first major Bollywood film of her career. Rhea Chakraborty is also part of the cast. The Jalebi star makes only a fleeting appearance in the trailer, which suggests that she may not get much screen time in Chehre. There was speculation of her being dropped from the movie following the events that transpired last year after actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death but that did not happen.
Chehre is slated to release in theatres on April 9.
Big B, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. The star will soon be seen in the sports drama Jhund. directed by Marathi filmmaker Nagraj Manjule. He also has the pan-India movie Prabhas 21, directed by Nag Ashwin, in his kitty. The biggie features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone as the lead pair and may have shades of the yesteryear Telugu classic Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari.
Emraan, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of the gangster drama Mumbai Saga. Director Sanjay Gupta's magnum opus is slated to hit the screens on Friday (March 19) and revolves around the clash between a gangster and a cop.
