JOIN USDulquer Salmaan shares the first look poster of his upcoming movie 'Salute'
Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan took to Twitter on Monday to share the first look poster of his upcoming movie Salute, directed by noted filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews. The young actor is seen sporting a uniform as he strikes a pose with his bike. The massy title and DQ's look suggest that the film will have a police background and an intense narrative.
Salute has been penned by Bobby-Sanjay and features Diana Penty as the leading lady. The Bollywood star garnered a fair deal of attention with her work in Cocktail, which featured Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone as the lead pair. She also played the titular role in the sleeper hit Happy Bhag Jayegi. It remains to be seen whether Salute helps her make an impact in Malayalam cinema.

This will be the second film to feature Dulquer in the role of a police officer. He had previously donned the khaki for Vikramadithyan, which featured him in a guest role. The buzz is that Salute will be 'massier' than the star's previous movies, making it a gamechanger for the hero.
DQ, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. He hit the right notes with his work in the Tamil movie Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, which marked his first collaboration with Ritu Varma. The Solo actor also received rave reviews for his performance in the well-received movie Varane Avashyamund. His production venture Maniyarayile Ashokan premiered digitally on an OTT platform, receiving mixed reviews.
Dulquer will next be seen in Kurup, one of the biggest films of his career. The biggie revolves around the life of a criminal and is expected to hit the screens sometime this year. He will be returning to Kollywood with Hey Sinamika, which features Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal as the leading ladies. He is also expected to act in a Telugu movie to be shot on a big budget.
